Do Not Fear Do Not Be Afraid

I am one that goes into a church service and when the music starts I begin to worship. I mean really worship. I sing the songs. I may lift my hands. I may have tears in my eyes. I may just stand there with my eyes closed. But whatever I am doing, I am focused on Him. I totally block out everything around me and focus on God. I totally immerse myself in Him, in the music, in the words being sung. If you look at me, I probably look silly. I don't know what I look like, and you know what? I really don't care!  Sometimes, I even get frozen in place.

The Lord is so amazing to me. While in worship, He will speak to me. He will show me things. He will take me places. I am not kidding!!! It is such an incredible time. I think I get this from my grandmother. God talked to her the same way. She taught me from a very little girl about God. We would sing to Him and just sit and be quiet and listen.

I have to tell you about a recent day in worship.

On this day, I could see thousands of angels worshiping before the throne and it sounded like a roar. I could literally see and hear this as if it was right before my eyes!

The Lord said to me do not fear the roar. Do not be afraid, for it is my Glorifying presence coming forth.

Ok Lord, I am not afraid! Let your Glorifying presence come forth! I'm not exactly sure what that entails, however I'm sure I need it! We all need it!!!!!!

I feel the need to tell you there is a strong urgency to get into His presence through worship.

Do what? You might say...

I don't know how, I don't know why? And I surely don't want to hear sounds... Are you kidding??? Worship?

But why should I worship, you might ask yourself? I'm fine with just sitting down listening to the music.

The book of John tells us...

But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. John 4:23 NKJV

You see, He created us to worship Him in a unique way. True worship must be “in spirit,”  which means engaging your whole heart. Unless there’s a real passion for God, there is no worship in spirit.

Also, worship must be “in truth,” which means to be properly informed. We have knowledge of the God we worship or there is no worship in truth.

That is why we look to the Word of God. We must know what the Word tells us about worship and who we are in Christ.

The book of Psalms tells us...

Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker; for he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care. Today, if only you would hear his voice, Psalm 95: 6-9

God calls us to worship. He calls to us and invites us to come and worship Him.

Give unto the Lord the glory due to His name; Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness. Psalm 29:2NKJV

Everything and everyone in heaven even worships Him. Look at Revelations...

When He had taken the book, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each one holding a harp and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. And they sang a new song, saying, "Worthy are You to take the book and to break its seals; for You were slain, and purchased for God with Your blood men from every tribe and tongue and people and nation. "You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to our God; and they will reign upon the earth." Revelation 5:8-14

Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne and the living creatures and the elders; and the number of them was myriads of myriads, and thousands of thousands, saying with a loud voice, "Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing." Revelation 5:11-12

And a voice came from the throne, saying, "Give praise to our God, all you His bond-servants, you who fear Him, the small and the great." Then I heard something like the voice of a great multitude and like the sound of many waters and like the sound of mighty peals of thunder, saying, "Hallelujah! For the Lord our God, the Almighty, reigns. "Let us rejoice and be glad and give the glory to Him, for the marriage of the Lamb has come and His bride has made herself ready." Revelation 19:5-7

God doesn’t need our worship, but He delights in our worship because He is worthy of it and our worship demonstrates our acknowledgement of who God really is.

There is no wrong way to worship him. There is no place you can't worship Him. Just do not fear. Just do not be afraid. The Bible tells us numerous times not to fear!

I call out to Him from deep within my soul. You can too.

Listen to this Song Deep Calling Deep It's one of my favorites.

I pray you find yourself in worship in a brand new way. I pray that you begin to worship Him in spirit and in truth. I pray that all fear be removed. I pray that His Glorifying presence touches all of our lives.

Amen!

Eyes are the Window to the Soul

Some say the eyes are the window to the soul. I believe that.

Have you ever noticed someone whom you are talking with try to avert their eyes from you. They are unable to speak with you without looking into your eyes. There are a few reasons for this, one is that they may not be able to be trusted.  Be very careful with whom you have conversation with and this happens.

Another reason may be that the Lord is speaking to you about this person. It's kind of like a "gut" feeling. Let's call it "mothers' intuition".   The Lord truly does speak through a persons eyes.

Your eye color speaks too.

My eyes are hazel and I love them. It is probably my favorite part of me. Hazel is a beautiful mixture of brown and green and this eye color looks breath ta-kingly good.

Hazel eyes are one of the least understood eye colors in makeup. This color is semi-rare and is a combination of several other colors including green and brown. They are a combination of Rayleigh scattering and change in color often according to this theory.

Elegant is the first word that is associated with people with hazel eyes. They are very spontaneous, fun-loving and always up for an adventure at point of time. Going with the flow and adapting easily to any situation is definitely their forte.

They are brave and courageous people who encourage diversity and they tend to get bored of monotony very easily. They love to try new things. Their beauty often attracts many people. They make for great personalities.

I always look deep into a persons eyes. Always.
