Made to worship Him

Click this scripture to hear an amazing song.

"Place me like a seal over your heart, like a seal on your arm; for love is as strong as death, its jealousy unyielding as the grave. It burns like blazing fire, like a mighty flame." Song of Solomon 8:6

This song touches my heart & soul. It brings out emotions, thoughts and desire within me. I am evoked to ask myself  "Is my heart fully Yours Lord? Is it, really Yours?"

If we are to answer this question, first I believe, we have to know His Love.

Love in the Bible...

Love is patient, true and always kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not brag. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love forgives. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends. 1 Corinthians 13:4–8a

Without the Love from you, our God, our Father, our Savior, our Lord, our Friend, our Redeemer, our Healer, our Advocate, our EVERYTHING, we cannot be. We really cannot exist, and of course we cannot be who you have truly called us to be.

For truly we are nothing without your love. We are as a clashing cymbal, a clanging noise. And God do I hate NOISE. We need You, Lord.

As the song speaks... Yes, Your love is like no other love. The mind cannot comprehend this love. It is as strong as death itself. Your love is like nothing we have ever experienced before. Understanding this love is a life long lesson, that I myself have been on.

Lord, I believe we want to know this love, and even though many may say they don't, I truly believe we are looking for it, at least I know once it is found, then and there do we begin to exist with LIFE. LOVE. HOPE. EVERYTHING we truly need.

Love described...

The Greek wordagapeis often translated "love" in the New Testament. How is "agape love" different from other types of love? The essence of agape love is self-sacrifice. Unlike our English word “love,” agape is not used in the Bible to refer to romantic or sexual love. Nor does it refer to close friendship or brotherly love, for which the Greek wordphiliais used. Nor doesagapemean “charity,” a term which the King James translators carried over from the Latin. Agape love is unique and is distinguished by its nature and character. Agape is love which is of and from God, whose very nature is love itself. I John 4:8 God is love.

Your love is deeper and wider than we can fathom. Your love is not the love the world gives. Not the love a mother or father or grandparent gives. Not the love a friend or a Pastor can give. Not the love a sister or brother can give. Not the love from a lover or a spouse can give. For all of these have flawed love: defect, blemish, fault, imperfection, deficiency, weakness, inadequacy, shortcoming, limitation, failing.

Your love is perfect. It is completely FREE of defect or fault. It is complete AND perfect love casts out ALL fear.

I want this kind of love... in it's fullness. I have tasted it before; but through all of life's situations, the good, the bad and the very ugly, and the effects of this imperfect love from the world, your love operating through me has been stifled at times. To be stifled means to make (someone) unable to breathe properly; to suffocate or restrain or stop oneself acting; to prevent or constrain.

I know You are so very jealous of me. I know you want my all. I know, I do not give you my all or feel like I give you my all. I remember days when I outrageously worshipped You; without fear, worry and/or shame. I am asking you today, Oh Lord, come once again and be the vehement fire inside of me, the flame upon my heart.

A most vehement flame - שלהבתיה (shalhebethyah), “the flame of God;” for the word is dividedשלהבת יה (shalhebeth Yah), “the flame of Jehovah,” by one hundred and sixteen of Dr. Kennicott‘s MSS., and by one hundred and fourteen of those of De Rossi. It may mean the lightning; or, as our text understands it, a most vehement or intense fire.

To this day, I do not fully understand, but I long to understand, the places that I have had to go to, in order to find out about this God kind of love.

I know you have chosen not to RELENT until I understand. Relent |riˈlent| verb [ no obj. ] abandon or mitigate (make less severe, serious, or painful) a harsh intention or cruel treatment or to become less severe or intense.

The cares of this world, the situations of life may make one weak, however when we begin to worship this God of Love and Life. When we worship Him with our whole heart, soul, mind, strength; every part of our being... We begin to experience His love. We begin to understand this kind of love.  It's not just about reading about God, it's about experiencing Him.

Do you know the main reason God created you?

You were made to praise & worship His name.

I want to worship you - with every breathe in my being - on the good days and on the bad. Be my all, Lord Jesus. Be my all.

You have always been there for me. You always will be.

I thank you for those in my life that are on the path of understanding this precious love too, and there are many.

I will not abandon you. I won't relent, as well, my Dear Savior.
